Video - Dominique Strauss-Kahn at APG’s World Connect 2015

- By

After Monaco last year, it is in the sun and amongst the palm trees of Marrakech in Morocco that the seventh edition of World Connect will be held from 28 to 30 October. This year, 450 air transport professionals from 80 countries will discuss the sector’s perspectives, trends and commercial strategies.

Sandrine Saint-Sauveur, President and CEO - APG Inc.: "APG is a company specialized in the distribution and marketing of airlines. All our services and products are global and ‘World Connect’ is a special moment where our customers such as airlines and our future customers can meet all our partners from around the world and also the major travel agencies."

And to answer the problem of air transport growth within an unstable geopolitical world, APG has called upon Dominique Strauss-Kahn who is interested in the sector.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Consultant: "I'm interested in air transport because I believe that it is a major source of growth for decades to come. Regarding services, the other major pole apart from health, is travel and tourism, therefore air transport. So I think that there is a considerable growth factor for years to come, which is linked to lower transport costs, and the need to see other places. From this point of view, air travel does not only mean aircraft, of course, it is also everything concerning the support infrastructure of tourism behind it."

This year the APG World Connect will bring together 140 airlines and travel agents top executives.
