Video - Psychological monitoring of pilots : should it be reinforced?

- By

On 24 March, it will be one year since the Germanwings Airbus A320, connecting Barcelona to Düsseldorf, crashed in the French Alps.

The origin of the tragedy that claimed the lives of the 150 people on board, was the deliberate action of the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, who set out to destroy the aircraft. The investigation revealed that he suffered from severe psychological disorders.

Following the outcome of the "suicide-crash" investigation, strengthening the medical and psychological monitoring of airline pilots is now at the centre of the debate. What is your opinion? We went to find out.
