Boeing’s 747-8 in both passenger and freighter versions, is the latest generation of 747’s, with a stretched fuselage in comparison with the 747-400. It will also be the next ‘plane used by US presidents.
The 747-8 meausures over 250 feet (76 metres) long, against a little over 236 feet (72 metres) for the A380, making it the longest commercial airplane in the world. But that does not tell us how many there are on a Boeing 747-8. On this aircraft commissioned in 2012 by the German national carrier Lufthansa, there are a certain number. How many?
