Whilst the UK should take delivery of its first F-35 this week, the spotlight is on the programme of this fifth generation fighter aircraft. After suffering additional costs in its development, Lockheed Martin estimates the total cost at $ 400 billion. At the moment, thirty F-35's are carrying out flight tests.
