I'm glad to see the 747 reinvented. It's such an icon of American enineenrigg. I hope it becomes an appealing product for airlines around the globe but fear it may be like putting a fresh coat of paint on an old house. Would Boeing have been better tearing down the old to build something completely new? A gamble. With less than 200 orders in line, the redesigned 747 may be a hard sell..,
