After London in 2013, this year, the Helitech show, dedicated to helicopters, is in Amsterdam in the Netherlands from 14th to 16th October.
Thanks to its central geographical position in Europe, and close to Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport, the organizers hope to draw crowds and exceed the 5,600 trade visitors at the previous edition. This time, a number of new features will be presented, starting with an aircraft newly certified just a few months ago by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
John Hyde, Exhibition Director - Helitech International 2014 :
"We are quite excited to see the Airbus Helicopters EC-145 T2 platform on display at the event which has recently been delivered to DRF Luftrettung (German Air Rescue company) for use in the EMS sector (Emergency Medical Services), we’re also looking forward to seeing a number of new exhibitors one of which is BAE Systems who are bringing their Q-sights Visor display system."
Together with Agusta Westland, Bell Helicopter, and Bristow Group, the event will have a total of 185 manufacturers from the helicopter world present, among them notably, fifty new entrants, some of whom are from the United States. Over the three days of the show, demonstration flights are planned, as well as conferences about the market, its future, legislation and regulation, safety, and latest news.
Next year, the Helitech ‘heliport’ will be in the U.K. from 6th to 8th October in London.
