Video - MH370: aircraft debris, to be analyzed in France

- By

Is the wing debris found on a La Reunion beach part of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared over the Indian Ocean, in March 2014, with 239 people on board? It is too early to tell, but this discovery revives the mystery of the Boeing 777’s disappearance.

The debris having been found in a French department, it is here at the DGAT (French General Directorate of Armament, part of the French Ministry of Defence), in Toulouse, south west France, where the debris will be sent, today, 31 July, to be analyzed within the next few days to establish whether or not this hypothesis is correct.

The DGAT is well known for its expertise in the field, having worked in particular on the crash of the Rio - Paris Air France flight in 2009. The Malaysian Prime Minister said a Malaysian team would travel to Toulouse to provide support to the investigators.
