ESI (Electrical System Installation) Designer (M/F) – MAP A350 – TO

Profile:
You have at least a 2-years degree in Aeronautics, ideally in Electrical systems; you have already worked at least 2 years in Design Office or MAP (Mise Au Point). You have acquired a good knowledge on ATAs especially on one or several following ATA : 92, 89, 87.
The A350 program knowledge is a plus, as well as Configuration Management.
You are qualified to work with Catia V5-EHI/EHA and SAP, VPM, PDMlink, DMU, ICC, CIRCE, Referenciel Elec TDD92/SIDP92

You are rigorous, pragmatic, autonomous and have good communication skills in French and English to work in an international team.

Context

Mise Au Point (MAP) program "A350": Treatment of non-conformities (NC) identified during the assembly of the aircraft.
Within a design office located near by the assembly lines, the mission is to provide industrial support to the assembly and/or equipment of the aircraft.

The primary mission of MAP is the settlement of technical problems frequently encountered on the Assembly Line.
These problems are of two main types:
-  Processing DQN (Design Query Notes)

  • During final assembly, if detection of non-compliance or deviations at the mounting related to the definition

- Processing CONCESSION

  • If assembly problems unrelated to the definition or damaged parts on Aircraft (Errors or production problems and differences in the definition drawings)

The position requires strong communication skills as it will be in permanent contact with:

  • The MAP partners (German, English and Spanish)
  • The Design Office,
  • Office Preparation
  • Production,
  • Quality,
  • The Manufacturing

Job Description

Integrated into a team of 30/40 co-workers, you will be mainly in charge of the “T100” task on the DQN  :

  • Analysis of requests raised by  the  Manufacturing Quality Department
    • Control of the  pertinence and coherence of information
    • Inspection and additional information on Aircraft (photography, measurements e.g.)
  • Problem analysis
    • Finding the cause and  the consequence of the NC
    • Gathering information (drawings/ stress dossier / procedures / tools etc.)
  • Establishment of a technical solution
    • Determination of the best suitable technical solution.
    • Finding the best compromise between:
      •  Engineering (avionics)
      •  Manufacturing (feasible solution)
      •  Planning (mold release, production planning)

This indefinite term contract is based in Toulouse (France/31) and requires  to be available for occasional travel (Hamburg, Toulouse) or on call duty (Evening, Week end…).
