DESCRIPTION: In this time of crisis, major airlines are having to look for savings. Singapore Airlines is asking its pilots to take unpaid leave, Lufthansa has decided to freeze hiring and salaries. Regarding Air France-KLM who announced a 2011 loss of 809 million euros, new measures are expected in June. The end of the crisis may yet be a long time coming !
