DESCRIPTION: Developed by the american company Terrafugia, the "Transition" is not only capable of taking to the road but also the air ! Thanks to its retractable wings and a 100 horse-power engine, this "road plane" can link two aerodromes 430 miles (700 kms) apart at a cruising of 105 miles per hour (170 km/h). With more than 100 firm orders, it should enter service in 2013.
