DESCRIPTION: In order to make heavy savings, Air France will have to part with more than 5,000 ground staff, pilots and flight attendants over the next 18 months. For now Alexandre de Juniac, the CEO of the company only foresees voluntary departures but recourse to layoffs in spite of everything may have to be undertaken.
